Dragon Ball Goku Android 8 Ichibansho Masterlise Plus 25cm

Dragon Ball Goku Android 8 Ichibansho Masterlise Plus 25cm

The goku android 8 ichibansho figure belongs to the Masterlise Plus line and stands about 25 cm tall: the largest format in the Ichibansho series against the Red Ribbon Army. It is an original, boxed Bandai Spirits product portraying one of the most heart-warming duos of the original Dragon Ball.

The characters
Android 8 is the giant android built by the Red Ribbon Army who, despite his fearsome appearance, refuses to fight and becomes Goku's friend. The statue celebrates the bond between the two, one of the most moving moments of the Muscle Tower arc.

The Red Ribbon Army series
The Ichibansho series dedicated to the Red Ribbon Army revisits one of the most beloved arcs of the original Dragon Ball, when young Goku single-handedly takes on the military organisation hunting the Dragon Balls. The same line includes Major Murasaki, General Blue, Goku with Bulma and Krillin, and Goku with Android 8: displayed together, they recreate the arc's most famous episodes.

The Ichibansho line
Ichibansho is Bandai Spirits' line of collectible figures, born from the experience of the Japanese Ichiban Kuji lotteries. Each statue is factory-painted, non-articulated and mounted on a base, with carefully sculpted faces, muscles and clothing folds. It is designed for display and collecting and recommended for ages 15 and up.

Display and care
To keep the colours bright over time, display the figure away from direct sunlight and heat sources. A display case protects it from dust, while a soft cloth or a dry brush is enough for routine cleaning.

Who it is for
It is designed for adult collectors and long-time fans of the series, but it also makes a great gift for birthdays and special occasions: it arrives in its original box, ready to wrap, and can be displayed straight away with no assembly beyond simply fitting it onto the base.

Rarities and collecting
Ichibansho and Grandista figures are produced in runs tied to each series and, once sold out, are rarely reissued. That is why collectors try to complete each series when it is released.
