The top

CX Infinity customisation
CX Infinity tops take customisation to the next level: the blade splits into four parts, namely lock chip, over blade, metal blade and assist blade. Swapping them with parts from other Beyblade X tops, sold separately, lets you try endless new combinations and adapt your top to every opponent.

The X-Celerator system
At the heart of Beyblade X is the X-Celerator Rail: when the gear on the bit meets the toothed rail of the Beystadium, the top suddenly accelerates in an Xtreme Dash and charges at its opponent at high speed. How to play

Every part has a clear role: the ratchet number tells you how many protrusions it has and its height, while the final letter identifies the bit.

Rarities and collecting
Beyblade X tops are split into lines: BX (Basic), UX (Unique) and CX (Custom), with Infinity variants that further expand building options. Each model is identified by a precise code summarising its blade, ratchet and bit, and this variety is exactly what makes collecting them all and swapping parts between tops so much fun. Hasbro releases use Western names that differ from the Japanese Takara Tomy ones, while sharing the original design.
